Lucie I. (Tootsie) Holland (Tetreault), 85, The beloved wife of the late Robert A. Holland for 60 years, passed away peacefully at home on April 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Raised in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Edmond A. And Yvonne B. Tetreault (Berthiaume). Lucie resided in Pawtucket since 1970.
She was the sister of the late Rita Lanoue, and Edmond Tetreault, Jr. Also, the last surviving family member Claire Hague.
Lucie was a loving mother to 2 daughters and 1 son, Anne-Marie Atkins, Gail Barcelos (Fiancé Kevin Jaskolka) and Robert E. Holland (wife Judith) all of Pawtucket. Devoted grandmother of 4, Rachel E. Barcelos (Fiancé Joel A. Negron, Sr.), Mark A. Barcelos (Mia Campellone), Stephen A. Erikson and Alyssa M. Erikson. Cherished great-grandmother of 4, Alaina M. Barcelos-Correia, Jarrell J. Negron, Joel A. Negron, Jr. and Jaylen L. Negron.
Lucie retired from E.A. Rosen Candy. She was a devoted church member and volunteer at The Holy Family Parish and Sacred Heart Church. She volunteered with the food pantry, feeding the homeless in Providence, the yearly bazaars and much more. She loved to knit, bake cupcakes, camping, traveling and being with her family.
The family of Lucie would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Beacon Hospice. For their compassionate and caring staff.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, May 2nd from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd DIRECTLY at Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
